It's certainly an insult.

Posties have stood up and accepted change and most work bloody hard. It's unacceptable that the ground troops haven't got some sort of recompense for their genuine hard work admid the culture of bullying in the mighty Royal Mail.

Posties lapse while the lazy managers f**k off home early. Yet who reaps the rewards?

Well in that case, why not hand it back? If it's not worth it, throw it back in their face.
Managers really are ungrateful, and stupid. If the bonus really isn't enough for them, then they only have themselves to blame. After all, it is performance related, is it not? So if it's not large enough, it means that they have failed to perform at a sufficient level to warrant a decent bonus. Or, in layman's terms, haven't done enough bullying/harassment or cut way over the required amount of hours from their budgets.

Sure were all full of sympathy for them. Maybe we could hold a whip round for them.....poor devils.

Funny that expecting their bonus and becoming used to the amount each year, £2000 is no longer something to be excited about. If my managers are on a minimum of £32000, Royal Mail are just throwing the money away really by giving them another £2000. It wont motivate them to go the extra mile. It wont make them learn a new skill or try to communicate with their colleagues any better. The parts of their job description that they ignore, they will still ignore. Wont stop them lying. Wont get them to listen.

I often wonder if whether we are the most unhappiest work force in the country.I almost feel sorry for the poor berk that is about to buy us.They have an absolute mountain to climb to try and improve morale

not married to one but ours had great pleasure in telling everyone how hard hes worked to earn his reward while the posties are dropping like flyes in our d/o with summer savings and duties being lapsed and the kind words of if you dont like it blah blah blah

yes they got theres but come on what as our union done for our they seem to be just messing about again its july tomorrow thats 12 weeks since april so a back dated pay rise and our still owed lim sums thats about 600 pounds for sum posties and they have still got us nowt.this yes vote the went on about was ment to put the sh***s up royal mail . but has it really ????????
