Can somebody please do this maths for me as I am too lazy.

If every delivery officer in GB started work 10 minutes early, how much money have they contributed to Moyas bonus?

I start at 6.00 am and the guy next to me is part time, his start time is 7.00 am, when I arrive at my frame at 10 seconds to 6 every morning, all his walk sorted mail is up and then he spends the rest of the morning annoying us on the IPS grabbing like 6 letters at a time. He then spends about an hour sitting on his hands waiting for his park and loop driver to get ready! Un-freeking believable! His behaviour is by no means unique in our office, there are 6 part timers in my aisle and when I arrive all except one of them are in and all their mail is up.

So back to my original enquiry, how much money is that assuming tha average across the country is 10 minutes?

In order to include the Dom you would have to further define "start".
He always turns up for work on time.
Whether he even "starts" at all some mornings is debatable.

when I walf through the door at 6.15am out of 30 at my office I would say about 20 have started at least 20 to even 60 minutes early.
Harry Hill our area manager comes in about 12noon and sees all the early starter/runners coming back and then wants us to do lapsing .
They are cutting their own throats but telling them is a waste of time

thats all you are doing allowing your doms and moya to have a bigger bonus, you work they receive and say thanks for all the free work you give them

15-20 minutes is about fine given travel time, parking and possible admin and other things to deal with (like having a word with manager or even colleagues etc).

But 1 hour and 1.5hours or more is ridiculous.

We have started lapsing and I see more people getting in earlier...

What annoys me is when the people who come in early start having a pop at you for being 'slow' because they are all in. Or when they moan because you are back later than most of those who also come in early.

50 * 52 = 260 mins a year per postman.

So that's about 170,000 postmen in the UK, meaning 44,200,000 free minutes a year, or 736,666 hours.

We haven't taken Annual Leave or Bank Holidays into account, but to make up for that let's assume everyone's on the starting wage of £8.58 / hour.

736,666 * 8.58 = £6,320,594

WHEN WILL THESE IDIOTS LEARN IT'S NOT YOUR TIME IT'S THEIR TIME (ROYALMAILS) AND MOYA's!.
