A prankster who tweeted a hoax complaint from The Royal Mail has become a Twitter sensation after the letter went viral.

Stuart Whitman, 42, from Hardwicke, produced an authentic looking letter from a fake customer service adviser complaining about a number of odd incidences at his home.

The letter, which was addressed to Mr Whitman, told how the organisation had become increasingly concerned about his bizarre behaviour towards postmen.

This included answering the door naked and, on another occasion, addressing the postie "while having a bread knife under your arm, wearing a ketchup smeared shirt and claiming you'd been attacked by crack addled Oompa Loompas".

I would have believed it as ive known a few strange things over the years

True story;

A few years back we had a old retired prankster couple on a round who were known for playing the odd joke. These were normally when the regular post women was on leave.

One poor soul was a victim. As he approached the address the male owner came out all distressed and told him that he thought his wife was unwell and would he help him check. A bit reluctantly he agreed and was lead into the living room which had the curtains closed.

Lying on the sofa was the said lady not breathing with a white sheet over her and a knife which appeard to be stuck in her chest. The husband said I think she’s dead would you take a look. The poor postie now crapping himself approached the corpse only to have the women fling off the sheet and scream.

He legged it out the house quite shocked. It took him 3 days before he told anyone. The manager sent a letter threatening suspension of delivery if anything happened like this again.

Very weird some folk.
