FULL TIME!!

Just a quick question, why RM does not offer a full time position anymore? No one could survive with 25hrs a week and what are chances of getting a full time position?

Quite simple, it saves RM money and runners coming in 1 hour early to do work for free doesn't help things either.

Been here nearly 6 years and not a sniff of f/t.

Keeping us on p/t and pro rata holidays, sick pay, pension etc makes more sense financially to RM.

worked with a 25'er today, he does at least 35, he'd asked about be made up to our standard 34/39 and told its better for them to save on holiday/sickness pay.
a manager usually preps most of his walk too!

If you stick to 25 hours and refuse to work over for free, they would be forced to either make you full time or offer you overtime to make up the difference.

We've regularly had people made up from P/T to F/T in our office, both post and pre revision.

They have agreed to keep a %75 ratio of full time so as people leave they should give out full time contracts but I don't see them sticking to that agreement in a million years
