Hi just a quick one.Whats the policy on getting seniority back if a person has left then come back.we are about to have a resign and everyone is trying to shaft everyone else,one bloke has done 10 years but has 10 years in a previous office which he is trying to get back.

If his service was continuous he has 10+10 years = 20 years seniority.
If he did 10 years, left and then came back, he has only his current 10 years seniority unless there were exceptional circumstances.
Although he should get 6 weeks holiday for 20 years service.
