As at the moment the union is focusing their energy on consultation ballot for voting. do this means Pay talk is on hold for now as it had been very quiet in last three weeks.

They are still `busy` negotiating a deal of the Century.....you of little faith...sheesh. :roll:

If we get a pay rise will it be backdated from April, or when ever we were meant to get it?

That will form part of the pay talks, we've had both since I have been here, but most got backdated to April.

Over the past 25 years I can't remember not getting a pay rise for every year I have been working. You must be very near retirement?

2009 was a pay freeze don't think it got backdated

I take it we did not get one in 2009 I can't remember but since the last pay deal I know are wage has gone up from about £24000 to £27000 on the basic pay.
