another unanswered question about the new sickness policy

I am aware that with the new sickeness policy that some people will get their stages reset if it applys to them. i was just wondering do people who arent on stages but have had some abscence get their days reset or is it people on stages only?

The informal review process has nothing to do with the attendance standards.
A manager can request an informal review at any time he/she decides that the employee's attendance is becoming "a cause for concern".

ok my last abscence was in sept 2012...so is it safe to say that my slate is now clean?

If you have say 2 weeks off sick, But you only work 3 days (25 hrs) would that be classed as 14 days sick or 6?

What if you received a stage 1 in November but stay clean and come off the stage (six months). As the absence was included in a stage, but still within the current (12 months) year, can that absence be recalled in any further stages.

I can't see how they can draw a line under it because it wouldn't be fair on someone who had gone sick in November,not triggered a stage but stayed clean for 6 months.

To be honest having a 12 month Attendance Standard Period but only a 6 month Attendance Review Period is going to throw up some issues,this appears to be one of them.

Fish I asked this question and they replied if you break the standards in the 12 month peripd you will trigger an Attendance Review 1 Prompt and the discussions will take place.

This is a very good question.

if a line is NOT drawn under the absence, then the same absence could just trigger another stage warning for a day's sickness at a later time.

needs clarification.
