New sickness policy...

Can someone tell me in what way this has changed? Is it still the 4 occasions or 14 days policy? I've been linked before to stuff about it but its so long winded and doesn't really say how it changed? Cheers.

the only difference is.... they are gonna be far nicer to you, when they put you on a stage warning!!!!!!!!

Main Difference is that if you are clear for the next 6 months you will have that stage cleared rather than a rolling six months from first sickness in the next twelve months.

When does this kick in if you were trying to clear a stage are we now on the new systym of 6 months or 12 months immediatly or do we have to exhaust the old systym first?

it starts now, and is backdated, so if you are gonna clear a stage by being free of sickness and up to standards you should come off the stage straight away, all DOM's are being sent an updated list of who is now off the stage warnings.

Say you clear the issued stage 1 by not going sick for six months. Am I then right that although your clear, you cannot go sick again, until the date of the first absence that put you on the stage has elapsed. Could one absence before the first of the four trigger points put you back on stage 1 again. Surely all previous absences do not become irrelevant and your back to zero. Apologies if this is all very simple and I haven't seen it.

It's all a bit vague,I'm not sure they've thought it through properly..
It is possible to clear a stage and still be in breach of the attendance standards.
If it doesn't reset it's going to be a shambles of continually triggering stages.
If it does reset it will encourage members to trigger stages to clear their record.
