Having to collect post it peg when you sign PDA out

Anybody else having to do this? Don't know about anybody else might just be my opinion, but since this world class mail has kicked in the job is a joke....hate it now, it's worse than been back at school, collecting post it peg when you sign for PDA in morning, wouldn't care it would be ok if I had a pocket to keep it in, but good old royal mail have been out of stock of my trousers for nearly 3 month,

Yes you should use a dog stick / peg if you have known snappers behind the letter box. Common sense really.

we got some new ones cheap an flimsy dont last a day got fed up of asking for replacements so dont bother anymore

First time I used mine the dog grabbed it and ate it. What am I meant to do at the next house when I need one?

Post pegs are a good idea with one exception. They will take longer than just posting. How many doors are dogs barking behind, quite a few. Faff about finding it, inserting mail into it, posting then putting it away. Just like having to knock next door with packets, if people aren't in. All good ideas but where does the time come from with duties so tight or over time? Answer, do it, it's safer and explain why when cut offs are brought back. If you get bit the question will be, "why didn't you use the posting peg". "Because I didn't have time", will not cut it were compensation claims are concerned. Lose a finger and it's your own fault.

They are useless where people have those brush type draught excluders, and you are supposed to use them whenever "you suspect" a dog is present, which leads to the age old statement "this will have an impact on my duty and I may need to cut off"
