Royal Mail are painting it as a mutual parting of the ways.
The official line is that the business has decided to progress the audits internally now that it has the relevant experience but yes it is true,the Professor and his team are no longer involved.

How did you manage that? We are due to start this rubbish this year, and TBH I think its a total load of crap, and would like to stop it starting, so any help I'll take with both hands.

The two numpties sent to sell it weren't that competent and didn't put up much of a defence when I/we attacked it for being vacuous.
Our office has many problems including a failed revision the office agreed until this has been resolved we can't take on any more nonsense projects.

I've just printed off a Masters Degree in Domestic Science for the missus.

I've seen her cook and do the laundry and I think she has reached the required standard.

It'll have as much validity on her CV as an "internally audited" Bronze, Silver or Gold WCM award.

I could handle WCM if there wasn't so much needless duplication of effort and it concentrated on activities with tangible benefits. Sadly as with other RM initiatives it's become a gravy train for Grads and a parking space for surplus managers.
