Fireman drop key
I recently purchased a drop key to aid in my deliveries!
I have noticed that if I do a different walk that it doesn't always work in some of the locks.......
Heard from someone on my induction day that you have to grind them down abit to work
Does anyone know if this is true, if so how do I do it???????

Yep, if you are referring to FB keys then there are 4 altogether but 1 and 2 could be altered to fit either. 3 and 4 were weird and very rarely used. If your not referring to fb keys ignore everything i just said.

Why would you do this.?
RM provide tools for the job (sometimes). If they don't then why would you supplement this?
Yesterday I saw and spoke to an OPG that was taking 3 bags out on his bike!!!He said If he did not do that then he could not complete in time.
Do I laugh or cry?
Practices that we as posties instigate that allow the job to be done , outside of the RM rules .. who is f**king mad.. and who is responsible for job losses?

You need to use a drop key VERY gently. chances are the lock has been broken by cleaners or other maintenance and doesn't work anyway.
