Ok,I have been given 2 attachment of earnings orders on my pay by the council.
These were for sums i disputed when i moved house once in 2009 and again in 2010 and i had tennants in.
Anyway,To cut a long story short,One is for £290 and the other £445.
Now i know from my net pay i will have to pay 12%
But is it 12% for each order or just one lot of 12%??
I rang HR before but she seemed as clueless as me.
So i take home £300 net pay,Im going to either get taken for £36 or £72
Any advice appreciated.

Re: Attachment of earnings Question
It depends if there are two separate CTAEOs or one consolidated Order.
If it's two the second will be applied to the residue of your earnings and you'll get stung for another 12% of what's left.
If the sums have been consolidated which is more likely...only one hit.
