lieu days for four day week

Well the revision goes through in my office next week and I have been given a four day week duty, every Monday and Tuesday off. What does this mean for bank holidays, will I get lieu days for every bank holiday Monday ? and holidays will I get an extra week holiday since I am only getting four days holiday when I have a week off.

Time of is accrued in hours so if you do 30 hrs over 4 days, you book 3o hrs off. So no, you don't get extra leave in that fashion. If you get 5 weeks now, you get 5 weeks after.
However, as you have every Monday off, you do get every BH back in lieu, so you will get an extra 6 or 7 days a year from that. Enjoy.

theres a fair chance it wont be every mon tue off it could be wed thur off the week after then fri sat off after that .

Well this is what has been agreed with the union and RM, plus the repicks are finished, and work rotas have been accepted, so I would be surprised if this was changed, in the immediate future anyway.

You will not be entitled to every bank holiday. There is a formula for working out the maximum bank holidays you can reclaim if you are part time. Basically it is a percentage based on the percentage of hours you work compared to full time contracted hours. ie if you work 19.5 hours that is 50% of full time, so you would be entitled to reclaim 50% of the number of bank holidays that you are not due to work.

hes having the two easiest days off and hes happy . i would be up in smoke complaining
