Your Manager, in this case can tell you when to take your Meal Relief. From now on you would be best advised to take your meal relief after tying up.
Your Employer does not have to provide a method of obtaining food but must provide a clean seated area away from excessive disturbance, (noise and public), and with surfaces on which to place food. They must however provide you with a facility for preparing or obtaining a hot drink and a facility for heating your own food.
You are entitled to a set time for your meal relief, that time includes the preparation and obtaining of that meal.

It gets more and more like school everyday. Always get in trouble with the headmaster for the silliest things, hope we don't start getting detention. :Very Happy

Good question. I suggest the OP asks that of their manager, especially if they smoke.
My own manager goes for a fag break 2 or 3 times an hour, then moans at me if I'm so much as 1 minute late for anything.

We are the same, but we always tell the line manager where we are going - for one its a H&S issue. If there is a fire, and you've popped out to do something, the lineo has to account for you and can't. That could put a Fireman in danger over a sandwich.

We've NOT got a clean seated area away from excessive disturbance and with surfaces on which to place food and a facility for heating your own food  but can go for a piss or a crap whenever we like. :nana :nana
