Apparently there is a new sickness and attendance thing coming in soon though we have not been told much about it. Does anyone know anything about it? Cheers. :-)

I'm suddenly feeling a bit unwell.

Is this a similar procedure that Canada Post had if so we should all be very wary as a lot of posties and union were sacked and then had to endure a tribunal to get their jobs back, this is just another ploy by management to scare you back or not take sick leave because people will be sacked.
I would like to see how many of our people are not in a job say 12/18 months from now, hope the union keep a count

did anyone get the letter with the leaflet with the "new attendance agreement"

I note that it has "Improving attendance - the four key principles

1 Clear and transparent standards and approach"


but fail to mention anywhere what the standards are.... surely it would have been a good opportunity to remind/inform us what these standards are with this letter.
