Compassionate leave question
My wife's grandma has just passed away and I can't seem to find anything about how to take compassionate leave for the funeral. Does anyone know the procedure?

It's not your immediate family so it would be at your managers discretion, your most likely 2 options are annual leave or unpaid leave but I can't see you will get paid leave.

My father in law passed away, I was told I could have one day off for funeral. The funeral was in Poland. I was supposed to travel there and back in one day! needless to say I didn't go
