P60 says earnings from previous employment ?

hi,,,,got my p60 on Thursday,,,,were the total earnings wrote is another box saying earnings from previous employment.

ive been with royal mail for about 10 years so in the past year I havnt had previous employment....but there is a few thousand listed in this box

ive asked a mate and his wage slip also has earnings in the box as well....

anybody any ideas

They changed the name of our employer midway through to UKIP or UKPIL or something stupid like that.

Having worked in a pay job before joining RM, it is also possible that "previous employment" could mean money from the previous tax year (2011/12) that was received after 05 Apr 12.
Royal Mail

Pay numbers changed for RM when we moved to the PSP system.
