A morning of absolute chaos!

Post by Bloke7 »

Today, staff were instructed to take all their walks; no cutting off because people didn't want to break the strike by doing overtime in the afternoon.

Chaos ensued. Bags were sent back and don't know where the rest are, in shops, safe drops, pouch boxes! Wherever!

They don't realise all the things we do for them. All the favours we do every day.

Now they realise....

We took NO mailsort at all,and we have hardly taken any all week since we were on strike on Sat.
There is s**t loads left at the office.
Won't get cleared for Months if we keep striking.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Same here
We dropped all our mailsort 3
But the DUM's kept us on the sorting until 7, sorting guess what Mailsort 3, Would you believe it!
So we Told them that we wouldn't complete and they said do the overtime, pretending that they knew nothing of the strike action. Sorry no overtime after midday, DUM!
And this is the sort of management we have running RM! LOL

The screws were running about like headless chickens as people were telling them they wouldn't be able to complete. What did they do? Pick on the newer people of course! Only this time several old arses were on hand to step in and give the lads some support. The idea of some thick headed screw from another town telling me how I could complete my walk on time (I've only been on it for 20 years, so what do I know?) made me laugh. They don't like being laughed at. Result: A mountain of mail left in the frames. The only ones who cleared are the idiots who come in early and who use their cars, and they must have stayed out and hidden in case they got gripped for a delivery upon their return. The screws and the DUM are out on delivery. It's a pity it isn't raining.

Yeah we had the same, - DUM's picking on the newer one's. One lad was nearly losing it big time until we pulled him too one side, told hi mtoo calm down and go with flow, gave him some advice and ten minutes later he was like a old hand....
I thought that we had outlawed all this bullying, or is it when it suits!!!!!!!!!!!!

You did a good job with the lad mate. This dispute will make good union men and women out of these kids now that managers are showing their true colours. Another generation of boss hating militants in the making.

my view is i dont think mailsort should be left after all they are the companies

that haven t deserted us and should be rewarded for their loyalty

push all the tnt utilities, bt, barclays , halifax or whoever to the back + maybe they mite just think cheaper

is not allways bthe better option and quit dsa thieves

Never mind yesterday chaos at my DO today with managers moving Yorkies from one landing to another, then back, then back to the other landing and yes you have guessed it all back to the original place. The picket line was in hysterics.
