hi all
new to the forum.i have recently been wondering if it would be at all possible to do an exchange trip to another delivery office in a totally different part of the country just for a week or two as a bit of a change.
has anyone ever heard of such a thing or has anyone ever done it?
i know postman pat did an exchange once down to that there london as i remember reading it to my daughter and thinking what a great idea.

When I was a cycle courier in London many moons ago ,some of the messengers did an exchange with some of their New York counterparts so it is an idea that could happen ,I would suggest it to Moyra.
A month in Oz on a moped or somewhere like Bermuda would be great.

Our exchange trip would probably be somewhere like.............Iraq.

i quite like the idea of peterborough(i always set myself low targets) as its my home town and i rarely get to go there these days and havent lived there for over 30 years.
in return some lucky pboro postie will get to do my rural delivery in north northumberland.
