Re: Consultative Ballot

Further to LTB's 294/13 and 301/13 the Postal Department has received a number of enquiries regarding what group of members are participating in the ballot. For the purpose of complete clarity the ballot will include all CWU members employed directly by Royal Mail, including all Admin workers. CWU members who work for Parcelforce, Post Office Limited, Romec and Quadrant are not included in the ballot.

However, Branches will wish to know that work is underway in preparing the Consultative Ballot for Parcelforce members. Further information on this will be sent to Branches in due course.

Any enquiries on the above should be addressed to the DGS (P) Department.

The Postal Executive, Regional Secretaries and Divisional Representatives have agreed that we will each attend a workplace meeting in support of the Union’s campaign.
But probably not to your Unit, or mine
