Every member will oppose it but it is a Government initiative and it needs a much wider opposition to maintain public ownership.

Therein lies the problem - there is plenty of public support on stopping privatisation but not much real public opposition.

TBH TBT there will only have to be that well known phrase "money saving 2p on taxes" and any public opposition will melt away.
