1 in 4 help

Can anyone help,3 of us picked into a section with a 1 in 4 rotation because the 4th person in this section always wanted a set Tues and Thurs off which resulted in the said 1 in 4 for the rest of us.Now after 3 years this person doesnt want these days and wants to rotate days off,putting us back to 1 in 6.My manager says this starts next week.My question is can they do this and if they can is there not a period of notice required? Thanks.

I believe it is 2 weeks normally, but as this is a local agreement and you have not been given the chance to offer your opinions, then I would say that you can go to disagreement, and the status quo will remain until such time as a suitable agreement for all has been agreed.
