I would have thought it was really suspect that our office has gone from loads of D2D returns to nothing all of sudden. Stupid that we have to give some people extra D2D on a Saturday to clear them!

No doubt that same manager will have suspended a postie or two for a lot less, so won't be getting sympathy from any of us. Remains to be seen if the manager will be treated the same as we would be, i.e. guilty until/even if proven innocent.

Oh I think from personal experience that managers are safe enough.. for now. Doesn't seem to matter how many cock-up's, failures, sickies, grievances etc etc they cause, they never get more than a finger wagging before returning to the coffee machine / smoke shed lifestyle they know and love so well. I reckon the Union should get ready to expose the excessive numbers of "managers without portfolio" that are bleeding the business of money for doing nothing. Who would want to buy shares in a business with so much waste in it?
