A new free guide to Camborne has been launched, featuring the unique selection of shops and businesses on offer in the town.

Your Essential Pocket Guide to Camborne is produced by BID Camborne and was launched on Trevithick Day.

BID manager Mel Martin said: "BID Camborne has produced this guide to celebrate Camborne and the businesses located in the town.

"Camborne has a proud history, has gone through some difficult times and is now re-emerging looking physically different, with new town centre housing & businesses replacing long derelict sites."

Zoe Hall, BID Camborne director added: “I had the opportunity, along with my three daughters, to launch the new BID Camborne Guide and associated map.

"We had a really productive day with the guides being very well received. We even had some people come back and ask for an extra copy!

"Chatting to the crowds on Trevithick Day, I was pleased to hear that some of the recipients were impressed that this type of guide, listing all businesses, had been produced.

"It was really positive to see the town so busy and have the chance to interact with not just locals but visitors from further afield who were impressed with our town and the wide range of businesses that we have.”

The guide lists details of all the different types of shops, where to eat and drink, all the business and travel services, where to stay and where to park in Camborne.

Starting on Monday, May 13, the guide will be delivered by Royal Mail to more than 10,000 addresses in the TR14 7, 8, and 0 areas.
