Everyone i spoke to had wanted a 1 week off in 6, the preference excercise as come back 68% to 32% in favour ofa rotating dayoff, as anyone any suggestions as to find outif these are the correct results, our union rep had just quit and i was thinking maybe suggesting a show of hands to see if the results are true. Apparently a few of the workerssaid they felt pressured into voting for the rotating day off. Any ideas??????

Who counted the votes?
Even if the rep had quit, there should have been someone there from our side to verify the veracity of the count.

Same thing happened in my office (although I did go for the 10 hour days/4 day week/1 in 3 option), personally I don't care anymore, Saturdays are just another day, go in, do your hours, go home although I don't do sport so that isn't a worry for me.

There are going to be approx 54 workers, so working on the %s of 68% and 32% there are 36 people wanting a rotating day off every week and 18 wanting a 1 in 6. How if possible could this be mixed, any ideas anyone, if so i can suggest them before everything is sorted jobs wise.Thanx in advance.

Without knowing your model week, number of rurals, terrain, part-time/full-time ratio, delivery span, number of firms drivers, members aspirations etc - nobody can give you an answer.
There isn't a one size fits all scenario.

The 4 day week is an option if you want really long deliveries.
