I was called into the doms office this morning,the union rep was there, I was told he wasn't happy with me and my partner brining back loops and told me I was going to be taken off my walk and put on reserve from Tuesday,and he said I would be doing a different walk every week. I asked the rep if he could do this and he said yes he went on to say I have a negative altitude, my partner was pulled in after me and told the same.

Get hold of the area rep. sounds like your rep is "in" with the DOM

Shocking if the rep said that, i'm a rep too and you may call me old fastioned but i defend my members, you would NOT be taken off your duty in my office, pick on my members and you pick on all of us, stand together and the feeling of power is overwhelming, that's what a union is about, right?

The union rep also said infront of the dom, that me telling them two weeks ago ,there was nowhere to go to the loo on our walks was nagitive

I agree, but we also have to remember shocking and disgraceful behavior from so called members that lead to what is happening here, as MJ said, take a look at yourself and make that change:)

What you need to do now is , put it in writing that u wish your delivery to be timed with you on it ,date it .Send one letter to DO , one to union rep and keep one yourself end of

If dom says i will test delivery with someone else (runner)refuse and say that the so called problem is with YOU AND NOBODY ELSE AND YOU REQUEST it to be timed always making sure somebody is with you i would sugest a good friend as witness as to what is being said It doesnt have to be the union rep !!!!! good luck

Here is few questions I would like to ask you.

1) when your off does your partner finish the loops?
2) when your partner is off do you finish the loops?
3) Has the walk been tested? if it has and it can be done in the delivery span they can take you off on the grounds of performance Issues this is what your rep seems to be agreeing on.

Ossie sorry but your wrong mate ,take my case we have guys who on my delivery finish before there time , i will go over my time by on average 1 hr or there abouts the dos are always saying why can the others finish before there time ,now are you saying they can take me off my duty because im below standards ?because all i do is ask for a meeting between me,DO,union rep,and posties who can do it before there time So i can pick up some advice on how i can improve . They back of simply because they know how they finish early .If a postman requests his duty to be timed IN WRITING then the request must be granted .
