been told this is coming in at hour office soon. where we get new sorting frames. staff will then be told who is sorting who is a porter moving mail and trays about and who will be prepping walks up.

any one herd any think like this or is doing it now if so is it working any good ?

It's an idiots guide to safe footwear condition.
Not that I'm bigging up WCM but judging by the condition of some members footwear it's one of the better ideas.

In fairness FT it's getting more and more difficult to order footwear, of course needing new ones every 3 months seems to be beyond their comprehension

Weve been working indoor like this for a year,,,,,were an office with approx 40% partime so this indoor flow doesnt work because there isnt enough bodies to man all the positions at 6am.
sooooo for a year the screws have been paying 2-3 hours over time per man per day to part time staff to muck in LOL

were supposidly having the out door park an loop revision soon,,,it keeps getting put back so till then they have to throw loads of money at the indoor side to make it work.

we have 6 primary sorters,,,,,4 packet sorters....2 letter porters,,,,1 packet porter....

personally i d rather do the primary or prep walks

cant be doing with all that portering and walking before i go out on delivery.

its a bit of a tw@t prepping some mornings cos in there wisdom they have you TRYING to prep 5 walks LOL it doesnt happen,,,,,i can keep up with 3 walks if theres alot of mail on the primary so giving you more time to prep

in short its a load of sh@te and seems to be a waste of money

world class mail is the biggest load of rubbish I've heard,whats world class about delivering mail at 3 in the afternoon when we used to have it all done by 9.30.

I rather got the point of that from the bullshitter,what i'm on about as a grunt is just what does WCM mean for us posties?
I mean and a lot of other people in our office think that it's something done by super hero type posties able to leap small fences and huge mounds of dog s**t, whilst wearing your cagoule as a cape ,how does the fact my shoes have a hole in them affect shoving a few pieces of paper through a letterbox and making it world class...or is it more to deal with RM using the blame route as normal?
