Be open about it and leave it to the DOM... In my office, the only times I have seen them have a moan is when it becomes too frequent and when they are struggling to get people to OT...

the dom says no, but i think i recall a official post saying it was ok ,if the management are told i advance.

I do not understand why you want to go against the DOM's decision. It is not worth it in my opinion. Are there no opportunities for overtime in your office?

What if you and your cash-in-hand buddy fell out over the money?

The cash-in-hand is there to help colleagues that cannot get day's off or feeling unwell and are on Stages... But, I have seen it abused ...

Why cant you have the other person appeal to the better nature (if any) of the DOM?
