I was told in 2012, in passing, that "After Christmas/April time, the new shift patterns will be introduced.You'll be able to have the one in four weekends off."
Well,its now close to May 2013 and I haven't been offered this arrangement at all, just a promise to discuss it. I'm working most Saturdays currently and have done for ages...being Tail-End Charlie, locking up etc and finishing much later than any other members of staff/managers.
Then today, a Full Time postie tells me they've been on this One in Four system for a while...and it was part of the "Agreement" etc.
So...Am I being overlooked? Ignored? Or is it only Full Time posties that are eligible? I've got nearly 10 yrs service in.
Any advice, info or RM guidelines appreciated.

Our vore on attendance patterns prior to our impending revision had this little caveat attached to it...
Vote 1 in 4 saturday and part-time staff will NEVER get a Saturday off. Given our office is currently around 50/50 ft pt ratio, it was pretty obvious which way that vote was going to go.
Clearly the pt staff never getting Saturday off was not the only way 1 in 4 can be managed.
1 in 6 it remains then! :(

Our part timers voted to accept a 3 day week Thurs, Fri, Sat and that's the way its been ever since the revision more than 2 years ago which means only annual leave brings a conventional weekend - it's difficult to believe there are still so many offices who haven't completed a full revision

Until then, I've received other stuff from local/regional reps..and THEY seem to confirm that ALL workers are eligible for the 1 in 4, 1 in 3, 1 in 2.
So, it gonna be requested to Management, with their documentary evidence as a back-up. Lets see what happens, Boys and Girls...
Think the Grievance Procedure route may be on the cards.
