conduct meetings

Hi All,
My friend has just received his conduct meeting letter which is following on from the fact finding meeting and he received it today at his work place and its for Saturday 27th is this allowed? Also no evidence or anything else was put with the letter not even a note saying why no evidence has been forwarded to him.
We would contact our rep but he is on holiday and the district rep cant be contacted for live nor money, can someone help asap due to the reply having to be sent today.

They have to include all evidence they intend to use in making their decision in the letter they have sent. If they produce any evidence during the meeting point out you should have received it at least 48 hours prior to the meeting, and it is therefore inadmissible and can't be used. Make sure if they do produce evidence during the meeting, that this is recorded in the minutes, and that you object to them.
The meeting should not take place without a Rep, preferably the Area Rep, in attendance, so ask for the meeting to be rearranged for when they are available.
