Hi just a quick question, I know we are allowed to have other jobs as well as working for RM but there are some things they wont let us do aren't there? Does anyone have a list (if 1 exsists) of what we can not do? Thanks in advance!

You are supposed to fill out declaration of other work forms twice a year, we do in our office.
If found to be working elsewhere and they know nothing about it, it could land you in trouble. If it's cash in hand, it's kind of ok apart from the obvious. If you're working for another company then RM/your manager should be notified for tax purposes, and it is also possible if they find out about it and you failed to inform them they may try and discipline you, though on what grounds I don't know.

Any jobs that could be a conflict of interest with RM line of business is a no no. If found out, they might (should) ask you to choose where you want to work. ie Yodel or any other parcel company. It is not just in RM as many companies will have the same policies in place for obvious reasons. Working in your local shops etc would be no problems as long as it doesn't interfere with your RM job.

That may be debatable as unless you signed out of the 48 hours declaration (saying you can work more) then you could be on dodgy legal ground. Even if you have signed it then I think there is an upper limit as well.
