I think its a way to sell it off ,shes goes on about the decline in letters and we want to be the best delivery company then increases the prices, they kept it all quite and then you notice the new parcel labels, top secret, run by con merchants.

maybe our union should ask moya who was the culprit to put up the prices.and also why did she agree to this increase and if she did perhaps she should stand down and clear off to canada.i am sure royal mail would pay her removal fees AGAIN!
just hope someone mentions this at conferance instead of the union trying to see if the members still backing the cwu .

Not interested, they've added all these xtra packets and signed for tracked but gave no xtra time and xpect u to get on with it. Hopefully they put the price up again

it seem to work for 10 days then mad amount today. But again I work in a richer area.

probably relying on the average person who only relies on royal mail who really have no other options

spoke to one of our managers and he said packets were down by 30% but RM had still made more profit from the higher prices . they are obviously playing a dangerous game, relying on people who cant be bothered to find a different alternative and just stump up the extra cash. if it works , its a great reason to cull the staff even further
