Yes but imagine how many jobs would be lost when all those bright young things who come up with these new modernisation plans are shown the door...............actually maybe we could share their salaries out between us

We just sign time in/time out. Our managers obviously care less for us than some of yours do for you.....

Time in to start shift, time out on delivery and time back

Many in our office don't bother. Especially those who finish early and don't want the dom to know by how much. It's a joke. We have lapsing most days and while many leave early it often pushes me into o/t as I'm p/t. For the record for me its: start time, time out, time first letter, time last letter, time back and finish time.

18.3 Time recording shall not take place from one area to another and shall only be used for logging on and off, including start and finish of overtime

Way Forward.
Haven't seen anything newer on signing in/out.
To be honest i'm the worst in the office for forgetting.
Always getting moaned at but I remember when signing in came in we were told it was only as a control measure to monitor gross hours for the Working Time Directive and it would never be a conduct issue and to be fair it never has been in our office.
