Ask not what the union can do for you..

Post by fishtank »

This is what the union wants you to do...

Our next step is to seek your support to endorse our position...

We want and you deserve s straightforward above inflation pay rise for at least 2 years commencing from 1st April 2013.

We want your support to stop the cycle of unachievable budget/performance that in too many locations make daily workload unbearable.

We want you to support the boycott of competitors mail. This will significantly raise the profile of unfair competition and how it will ultimately undermine the principle of the Universal Service.

We want you to support and engage in our campaign to stop the sale of Royal Mail.We are building a coalition of organisations to protect UK Postal Services and you will have an opportunity to take direct action in the near future.

We will carry out a consultative ballot soon to ask your support for these policies.Strong support in the consultative ballot will empower the union to take these policies forward in ongoing national talks with the company and in our wider campaign to stop privatisation and end once and for all, unfair competition.

After all the crap we've had to put up with from the leadership, this is what they send out..........I'd be surprised if people voted for any sort if IA. 3 years of BT2010 has broken most people, maybe it's time for the leadership to see this and do something about it instead of sending out e-mails, how about they come out to offices and take the abuse that they really deserve.

Our leaders have seen what the managers are getting......we want the same at least, or better. And we don't want shares.

:cuppa

After 3 years of ongoing CRAP billyboy wants my support.....lol

Last strike we had RM on their knees and billy said " leave it to me, I'll get you a good deal "

Then BT2010 was born, and we've all been paying for it for the last 3 years !

Its a no from me,

I'll support the local rep on local issues, but NOT the cwu leadership, not until it changes.

Time for a change at the top

To be fair COK Billy wasn't involved in BT2010.

I thought he was head of the CWU during the negotiations, and I expect they had to run things past him first, or was he doing something else while this was going on ?

1- The buck stops with Billy as he's the top man
2- Whoever's to blame doesn't change the fact that BT2010 was THE worst deal ever for deliveries - FACT
3- Not even the introduction of agreements for AG's or D2D's has so much upset been caused within deliveries
4- Can I have EVR please :pray

Incredible! Lets all blame everyone else and stand in our corners and maybe the big bad bosses will feel sorry for us!
If you don't back the union nationally you will be in for a s**t storm of revisions and targets. You will feel the full force of free market capitalism without trade union protection. And don't say you feel it now because you definitely haven't!
23 Mail Centres closed and favourable EVR terms, 6.4% pay rise over 3 years just ended with the help of your trade union.
Don't worry because the job centre or TNT will listen and then ignore you.

And thats why were stuck between a rock and a hard place....

You've got a union that does nothing until they're forced to, and a management who see's us as cannon fodder....

Whats a postie to do

Yout damn'd if you do....and damn'd if you don't

We are held at the CWU & RM's mercy
