Average start times and finnish times P+L

Shortly we are about to go live with P+L ,Every question we ask ,get standard reply " dont know yet "
We do know RM wants our start times to be 7.00am ,as for finishing times all a bit vage.

Nearby offices ,finnish earlier than us and are encourage not to take their meal relief.

So to get a idea what is your average start time and average finnish times including Saturdays.
Are the rounds now with P+ L Bigger now or smaller?.

Has it worked for you as a indivudal or not .

What about picking children up from school if we go to 7.00 pm ,I cannot see how I can get to school to pick kids up at 3.

when you had your 1-1 with planners did any one actual take notice of your views.

have been lied to by Managers so many times over the years I do not believe anything they say especialy how good Park and loop is.

I've found people are more likely to take their meal relief.

Start times range from 6.45am to 7.15am
Finish times, 2.15pm on a Saturday, 2.45 - 3pm other days.

Rounds are bigger due to packets.

Has it worked for me? I quite like the new method, although plenty of people will disagree. Less walking, less to carry on the shoulder, so not as tiring. It very much depends on who you are teamed up with. Some people are slow, others are fast. Some people you get on with... Etc.

If you need to pick kids up, you need to cut off. Simple. You don't have to work over your time. Rm bosses should work with you for family friendly hours.

Our FT staff start at 6.50, usually all out by 10am unless really busy. Mon/Tue finish between 1.30-2.15, Wed/Thu/Fri 2.30-300, Sat usually all done by 2.00-2.15

Different hours for different days. Heres mine, im on 32.30hrs a week.
Mon- 7.35 - 14.05....Tue-Sat = 8.30 - 3.00.
Although im asked in 1 hour early each morning to prep the round as its impossible to complete before 3 otherwise.

Start times between 6.45 and 7.15, 8.45 for PT staff. Finish time 2.45 every day, though we have 20 mins meal relief on the back end (and 20 in the morning) so leave the office at 2.25 if working to time, which is very regularly and we often can't complete. Basically if you start at 7.15 and its a busy day with a lot of IPS you are buggered, as with a revision you'll end up with less staff on sorting.

Ours is due to start in June. I will not be going over my time regardless of who I get paired up with or what Duty I get. If its planned properly we all be able to complete. If its not its RMs problem once my time is up.

yes we have to have daily vehicle checks and weigh bags

We have 20mins meal break before we go out, and 20mins at the end, but unlike a lot of other offices we still have job and finish, and some people are finishing at 11.00.We don't get any grief from our managers if we say we are cutting off, they just say leave what you cant do in the frame and they try and get rid of it on overtime, if not, the managers do it themselves, we are an office with 120 walks and are revision was nearly 2 years ago.

Depends on your mail arrivals. Find out what time your last arrival is, how much is roughly on it, how long it will take to sort it and you can work out from that what time you could start. Don't listen to anything a planner says as they'll want you to start as late as possible as they are all useless.
