Failing to deliver your D2D

Accord to manager last week the van share I was covering had 900 left over D2D. How this is possible I don't know as I set all my D2D out before leaving the office. I had 2 different partners and what they did I don't know.

What could possible happen about this? He did say that the vast majority of them were from the other half of the van share (D2D boxes had labels on them)

as long as you do your own d2d you have nothing to worry about. if your partner chooses not to them then thats his/her call if there are any problems. you do yours and you are fine.

I didn't think you had a specific duty in P&L, you are both responsible for delivering all the D2Ds...........at least that's what I believe should happen.

Yes that does seem to be the only good thing about being a reserve, we get s**t about everything else, but we don't seem to be getting all this s**t about D2D's that you guys are getting right now.

At a guess, 'yours' would be the houses you deliver to. I'm sure 99.9% of people do the same loops each day/week.

Not in my office, the P&L people can swap bits depending on how they feel, what mail is there and what packets are there, it helps to level out the workload, there's none of this 'my duty and your duty' but our duty which has to be completed by both.

The responsibility for "doing" the D2D must ultimately lie with whoever is responsible for prepping them since once out on delivery you can hardly magic them out from a pile under a frame at the office.

Obviously if you are prepping them and then someone else is removing them from the bundles prior to delivery and dumping them that would be different but that's hardly going to be a common occurrence.
