And again today - it wasn't his best performance and the guy he was on with looked much more polished and prepared - the guy was pushing the regulator like he was the messiah and was solely there to protect the postal workers and the USO...............the pension was mentioned briefly, but DW was pretty lacklustre in truth. I am not a snob but it wouldn't do any harm to move away from the open necked shirt and scruffy looking working class suit - with what we pay him he could certainly afford a better wardrobe.

There is a clear need to do media interaction training, I did a PRO course
with my Brigade it was very useful for dealing with the Media on MOD
matters and presenting a positive image without compromising us, I think
David Ward could benefit from something like that, we need to bee Media savvy
and get the public and MPs onside.

Image is all in the media world - you can be spouting a load of bollocks but if you look the part you become believable - just take a look at some of the politicians. I'm surprised we don't employ a PR guru and a polished spokesperson - some bimbo with huge bangers would certainly steal the show because people would pay attention without listening to what she is saying. Dave Ward looks a bit like a plumber tarting himself up a bit to do a quote for a job.
