Unjust accusations cause financial ruin !

I have been a postman for over eight years, for the last four of those years i have been a phg.
Two weeks before christmas i was accused of theft by a junior employee whom i trained and therefore suspended pending investigation, after a long and drawn out argument about royal mail having no proof i eventually returned to work to find that the phg duty had gone up for picking as a result a more senior employee took over the role.
Despite having no proof i feel i have been unfairly pressured by my manager and have still recieveved no apology.
Because of the loss of role i have been forced to go back to being a ag postman which has caused me to lose £115 a week in wages, because of this my financial situation has now got into such a state i am over my overdraft limit.

What's a PHG? They got rid of those years ago.

First of all you were never a PHG...and you are not an AG now.
Those grades disappeared in 2000 with the introduction of the single operational grade.
You may have worked in the priority locker or callers office or both but that was it.
Secondly what allowances were you receiving to make a £115 difference in wages between your's and a postman's role or was it just a difference in hours?
If it was a difference in hours were those changes to your contract permanent or were you booking OT for four years?

I was paid ten hours extra a week to make me up to full time hours and then worked my day off for a further seven hours sa.

Unfortunatley i was never given a full time contract, but the fact still remains that i would never had been put in this position if not for a false accusation.

Did you pick the locker role in a resign,was it advertised or were you placed in there by management.
Does the role come with SA attached or was that a separate agreement?
Do you have written confirmation of that agreement?
Have you been given any notice of withdrawal of SA?

I was put in the locker due to medical reasons (accident on duty) Which caused me to become disabled.
The Sa was attached to the duty, no contracts were offered.

So what are you doing now?

So what are you doing? You do realise that you were earning a considerable amount of money on overtime and that it is always on the cards that it could and probably would be withdrawn on a revision. Was there a revision that caused the duty to be picked by someone else.

I would also put in a grievance against the person that made the false accusation against you, it is quite clear beyond doubt it was maliciously made and you could sue for financial restitution for loss of earnings. also grievance against the manager for trying to put you on delivery in spite of an ATOS report.

Whilst i understand there could been a revision and i could have lost the role to someone more senior, i could accept that.
But the manager just put the duty up for re-picking without even concluding my case first.

Also i have put in grievences against both my manager and my accuser.
And have asked for legal support from the union in a loss of earnings claim.
Unfortunatley the whole process has taken nearly five months and made very little progress.

I don't see how you can claim for loss of money, you didn't have a contract for the locker duty, you where just doing it.

Just doing the same role for the last four years, and as i stated the manager had the duty up for picking without even concluding the case.
How can that even remotely been seen as fair.
