Jade's father writes ' We want to get the law changed to make dog owners accountable for their dogs at the moment the police have no powers to prosecute dog owners if their dog attacks somebody on private property we want that changed as well as regulating certain breads of dogs so they have a license and have the dog registered and micro chipped . this would give police the power to confiscate viscous dogs that are unlicensed and hopefully we can save other family's suffering like we have gone through'

Fully agree with the whole dog thing ... because you HAVE to - but just a point of information on this particular case ... Jade was 14 years old ... the attack happened on a school day - I don't know the exact time (does anyone ??) but - was it a wrong place wrong time .. or what ... there's more to this than meets the eye ...

Dog owners should be licensed and insured in case of dog attack.

Dog owners should have to pass a test to get the license.

Dog owners should pay for their license yearly.

License fee used to provide more dog wardens!

All unwanted/unlicensed dogs culled.

***There was uproar and demand for culling after just FOUR fox attacks in 12 months!
