Was listening to Closer by Nine Inch Nails today and it got me moving faster, seemed to have a good rythm to it. Also I have been listening to Nirvana on delivery as well as Hole of course. I also like some disco beats so have also been listening to David Guetta new album, and also old stuff like Eric Clapton and Dire Straights. What music do you listen to on delivery that gets you moving faster?

i listen to classical music full blast on the van and its good because when i pull keys out the radio still plays. I get some funny looks.

Whats an idab? Tried listening to radio on my phone but its just fm so was on/off all the time - pain in the arse - need something to drown the day out if you know what I mean. Maybe need some metal or industrial but not sure which.

Got stopped by my dim for wearing phones the other day and he told me we are not allowed to wear them on duty (health and safety etc) is this correct

In our office you're not supposed to, though quite a lot do. It is against H&S, as you are not able to hear cars etc. Which leads to, obviously, if there is an accident - converted to incident soon after naturally - and you admit/they find out you're wearing earphones, then conduct code will follow, and you will be blamed.

You also can't hear customers shout after you when you've form left their latest shiny piece of crap. Which is why people wear them I assume....

I'm sure that our wonderful, caring overlords have our best interests at heart when this form of 'elf & safetee' is used as a punitive measure; although if this was solidly the case then logically it would follow that we would not be employing people with severe hearing impediment such as one chap in our office?

Or people that pull up out of nowhere and demand that you immediately stop what you're doing and attend to their "oi, where's xxxx road" query.

Have always been told you're allowed to wear one earpiece, so you can still hear traffic/people etc, with the other one, works well for me. Not sure you're allowed to do this when driving though lol.
