Notice period?

I was wondering what notice I have to give. I've been with RM for just under 23 years on a permanent contract. Someone told me it's one week and then another told me it's 2.

Our dom just told a guy in our office its a week for every years service which meant 11 weeks!! Thats how knowledgable these managers are now, think they know it all and know nowt

To be fair they may have misheard the notice period they have to give IIRC is roughly 1 week per year up to a certain limit I am not sure of.
