We haven't a rep in our place, so I am a sort of acting rep who tries to sort out any issues if I can.
We are currently going through a revision and are at Phase 4,but I want to go into disagreement with this, but want to respond with the right terminology really and as many reasons as possible.
The indoor side was going ok and as we are working at 79% BSI an increase to 85% seemed reasonable, but of course they now want 100% BSI which is crazy.
For the outdoor element they have produced walks which I believe to be just too long, as it seems to me that the large packets that were being done by drivers previously are just not being taken into account enough.
We do get a lot of packets and with only one minute being allowed per call, this is also going to be a problem.
Any other ideas from your own rejecting of revisions will be gratefully received as I can't just say that the walks are too long.

Re: Rejecting Revision at Phase 4
Unless you actually are the rep I don't think you can go to disagreement.
The Area Rep could.
In the absence of an accredited rep in your unit the Area Rep should be overseeing the revision and you need to contact them with your concerns.
They may well agree to 100 bsi over your heads.
You should have done a packet count by walk and this is what your planner should be using.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: Rejecting Revision at Phase 4
At the end of the day phase 4 has to be validated by a member's vote.
Without that the revision goes nowhere so the most important thing is communication with the members in your unit.
Let them know your reservations over the use of 100BSI,the size of the walks and the lack of packet time...and then let your branch know.

Phase 4
This is where you need to look at innovative duties and see how best you can maximise full time working and more Saturdays off as well as safeguarding earnings in line with your member’s aims and aspirations. Again you can use the Divisional website highlighted above you can click on the highlight in the delivery reps section on New Model Thinking and Delivery Duty Development to get some ideas of what you could look at and what makes up a delivery duty. This list is by no means exhaustive they are just a few ideas for you to think outside the box.
Reps should ensure that all the plans for the revision are displayed and there is an opportunity for all members to air any concerns about walks or the revision etc. All reps must ensure that a members meeting must takes place to ensure ratification of the duties and agreement is given by our members for the implementation of the revision.
All reps need to think about whether a re-pick needs to take place in line with the Way Forward Reps need to also think about any duty changes that may involve the Managing the Surplus Framework agreement, (which is also on the same web page) and Family friendly duties, as well as any Disability Discrimination issues, which again can be accessed via the CWU web site.
