I used to make the claim that this job was the only job I ever had that I didn't dread when I woke up in the morning. I no longer make that claim.

Am off this week (first full weeks leave since last October) & am hoping that when I get back I'm refreshed & raring at go.

I used to like this job but no longer look forward to going. And I'm sure quite a high % would agree. Although, things have been better for me in the last 2/3 years since I started working to time/rules, find I'm less stressed.

On a another note, things are still on a downward trend overall, and can only see this continuing. Which means when I wake up and think 'what day is it?', and the answer is a workday, not going to be happy.

To be honest,as bad as the job is getting & as woeful as the "management" become I find its my colleagues that p*ss me off more than anything.

I mean,I can sort of understand the ways the gaffers behave...they have targets to meet,want to save as much money as possible & are under increasing pressure from their superiors to get as much work out of us as they can.

It ain't right,I don't agree with it but I can sort of understand it.

It's the plebeians who come in 30-mins early then strut about with that air of superiority having bagged up at 9am that really grind my gears.

No need to go into any more details,we all know the score here,it's been done to death but Jesus,out of all the shite that is going down at RM this is the one singular thing that really gets on my wick.

Anyway,rant over,I'm having another can.
