When you talk about British hans do you mean Great Britain(England,Scotland and Wales but not Northern Ireland) or do you mean The British Isles,a geographical term which includes two large islands, Great Britain and Ireland(both North and South), and 5,000 small islands, including the Isle of Man which has its own parliament and laws.

The correct name for this country we live in is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland which renders the term British offensive to our brothers and sisters across the water from Stranraer if used as a wholly inclusive collective noun.
