duty builder what a joke

planners and union rep spent months in our office doing a new duty builder after what seemed to be yrs it was rolled out to the posties, my duty is a 4 day week 9hrs 45 mins with a 20 min break at 7 am. a while back i was told i couldnt have a break untill my van was loaded so i got the cwu involved as that meant myself having to wait up to 5.5 hrs before a break up to 1.5 hours longer working than others so it was decided i could take my break once my mec and 1st lot of manual had been prepped. yesterday however i was seen coming back into the office after the 1st 5 mins of my break was asked into the office by my line manager about me being outside i pointed out to her that i was on my break as per agreement and also as per duty builder and was taken aback when told ignore the duty builder which was taken down from each section of our d o ages ago. after a while my break issue was resolved but im flabbgasted at the comment IGNORE THE DUTY BUILER so what a waste of time money and effort by both the planners and cwu rep. if the duty builder no longer applies in our office then surely the cwu in our office should be pushing for a new duty builder that will apply to all of us who work there. views please
