Royal Mail have changed the way they deliver post in the Bakewell area, meaning that usual delivery times will be different for many residents.
Since Monday, March 25, postmen and women have been using new delivery methods and have adopted revised delivery routes.
Royal Mail are in the process of writing to every address in Bakewell about the changes – including households, businesses and other organisations.
A spokesperson for Royal Mail said: “The way in which we communicate with each other has changed dramatically. Unfortunately, fewer letters are now posted every day and Royal Mail needs to organise its delivery routes to be as efficient as possible. We also deliver larger items and so we are investing in new equipment to carry these items to customers even more securely.”
Royal Mail didn’t give any indication of what time changes were taking place.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Since march 25th nothing has changed because it ain't been implemented or agreed with the cwu ! Where do they get this from the press!!
