We have had 3 or 4 for the past 4 weeks and then on a bank holiday week we have 6 :arrrghhh

2 this week and thats pretty much the norm , might get 3 once in a while but never more .Then again i do work in London. :nana

Personally I'm of the opinion that the more D2D's to do the better.

Just makes for a bigger cut-off by the time I've prepped them :nana

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Delivery office 2 Dustbin ( d2d,s). Had team brief today, went something to the tune of if you can,t complete in adverse weather conditions then cut off bring all undelivered mail back as no overtime will be paid BUT we must must must get all D2DS cleared, what have we come to :arrrghhh .

Our managers answer to cutting off is to make us come in later he figures that will mean we can do more in the same spread :hmmmm

they're hoping you'll come in early, or have things to do/arrange close to your old finish time therefore hope you'll rush around. Or you did originally have some spare time in the morning waiting for mail to come in early on, therefore with the later start time no more sitting/waiting around for the lorry (if you did previously have this situation at times in the past)

Royal Mail management seem to think absrobing and door to door is more important than the regular walk. Never understand this nonsense.
