Hello
I know of a 35hr job coming up at a local DO and would like to transfer..
But..
I have been told to contact the union to start proceeding's, though I have only been working for RM for 8 weeks and some one else told me I couldn't cause you need to be employed for at least 6 months ??
I'm on a 25hr contract at the mo which was changed from fixed term to permanent two weeks ago.
Anyone know if I can transfer and the best way to do it?
The Job is not on the RM site yet, but spoke to the Dom of the branch and he said contact the union..

are you sure no one at the do will try and get the vacancy before you get the chance?

How come you were made permanent before the end of your probationary period ?

Nah I have no idea, just had a new contract in the post... prehaps they sent it by mistake ?? who knows.. I know I got it and signed it and sent it back..
Still on a probation period though as it said in the new contract
