if the walks are to big how many bag drops does, he have you can only put so much in a trolley and then
it is down to the drivers to drop his work off (it is quite easy to slow him down).

Unless he is the driver and the walker is using bag drops (no no in my opinion), then he has to wait for his partner before moving to the next stop.

Perhaps, he runs and then helps his partner or takes all the biggest loops. He is mad but what can you do?

All our bag drops went when we had our revision that was 2 half years ago.

it just goes how good revisions are we still do bag drops all over the area can not wait for more absorbtion on the vans then the office goes up the wall.any problems nowdays and managers look to put it onto the drivers.
anyway whens this ballot coming out or are we backing down again.

The regular or walkholders (not the super-normal guys ) just have to stick to their assertion that the walk is too big ... Surely, not all reserves in your office are runner

Well in our shithole it's just as likely the never do anything wrong walk holders to be running round ,take last week for instance,walked in(on time )counted 40 people who where sat on there arse leg swinging at 7a.m having already thrown all mech mail out and yes most of them where walk holders.

It happens to me after I come back off A/L. Every time it's 'so and so can get it done'. Just stick to my guns and point out we all work in different ways, for instance, I stick to the rules. If they continue the moaning session, I invite them to test me. They never have.

I don't think the OP should be telling one class of workers how to do the job; unless he is going to make a big big issue of it across the board... He is the Union Rep, afterall.

Afterall, this is the same office where the RESERVES are not even getting their entitlement to Saturdays off. Though, why the reserves are running beat me.

Some people just cannot help it. Paired working/P&L has just highlighted the problem even more. The managers are not going to stop people coming in early or even doing their D2Ds days before - all these counts. He who is without sin can cast the first stone

I don't like rushers or people that come in early then try to rush me or their partner. Other than that, managers know what the game is - some people are rather slow and perhaps a touch lazy, some are too fast, most are fine and get on with it.

Managers will always try to play posties off against each other. But if a postie is absolutely sure he is doing his best then it is hard to make him/her do more - even with threats.

how many managers do you have, and how many staff at your office.
at the end of the day your guvnors sit in there office drinking tea and coffee and pretend there on a conferance call and stay clear of the office staff no one listerns to them.just do the work you have and soon they will be moved on to another area like the area managers.remember were the office the managers just float by.
