Ofcom moved the goalposts.
We scored.
To be honest though we're still 5-1 down at half time and their team is full of players from Holland and Germany..

I saw the video at WTLL.
It said made £80million but I don't think it was specific that it was profit but it definitely gave the impression it was PROFIT - I doubt it;
Revenue means jack if it is not profit. We have seen big companies making lots of money suddenly go bust

We are boycotting it to protest about end to end delivery.anTi wrote:I thought we were boycotting this next month???
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

you dont make a profit with universal service and charge 15p per item.
dsa is just like that bloody tax they wanted to do with cyrpriots, EU shite.
how much revenue has royal mail lost since dsa, conditions are far worse its all bull.

Re: £80 million profit on down stream access
Saying 80million without context is useless.
Say for example that was 80million pure profit (which I very much doubt). But, over the past 10 years they have lost 500million on dsa over all the years. So they are still 420million down.
RM are trying it on to avoid the boycott.

I don't think they are.thefemalepostie wrote:RM are trying it on to avoid the boycott.
I think they are trying to push the debate towards it's intended target.
The boycott isn't about DSA,it's about end to end competition.

RM are looking for that elusive of all things - a level playing field. Competitors forced to comply with the same restrictions that RM is - they're not going to get it but they might make it more difficult. If they don't get it they may be able to persuade the regulator that there should be a clause to make the competition pay a levy to RM on the volume of mail they deliver.

No because of the corruption in the big cat league who have there little grubby fingers in a load of pies. Alledgedly.
Levy--least they will get but a start.
Always be one step ahead, play their game but be wiser. Revenge is sweet.
